The lucky player matched five of the six balls pulled in the Wednesday, August 16 Powerball drawing to win $100,000, state lottery officials said.
The vendor, ACME Markets at 601 West Lancaster Avenue, is slated to receive a $500 bonus for its part.
The winner will not be identified until they claim their prize and their ticket is validated. Winners have up to one year from the drawing date to claim their prize, and all winning tickets should be immediately signed on the back.
More than 27,000 other Pennsylvania Lottery players won prizes of some amount in the Wednesday drawing, and every player is encouraged to double-check their ticket every time.
